Photography found me the way most great loves do — quietly, then all at once.
During the pandemic, I picked up my camera with one goal: to teach myself everything. I studied, I shot, I obsessed. What started as a personal discipline became a craft I couldn't walk away from. After years on the production team at my church — capturing the energy of live events and learning to work with professional lighting in real time — I started getting a question I couldn't ignore: do you do this professionally?
Now I do.
My approach is easy, relaxed, and professional. I want every session to feel like spending time with a friend who happens to have a really good eye. Colorado is my studio. That golden, wide-open quality that hits differently here than anywhere else. I do most of my work outdoors, chasing it across locations around town and beyond.
When I'm not behind the lens, I'm a designer and the owner of two brands built around the things I love most — Resonant and Elizabeth & Bern, focused on craftsmanship, sustainability, home and style. (I love home decor. Deeply. Unreasonably.) I'm also a movie lover, a restaurant explorer, and someone who is happiest when surrounded by good people; which makes this whole photography thing feel like exactly where I'm supposed to be:)

I am currently obsessed with Jacks on Pearl. I first tried them during Denver Restaurant Week with my bestie, and we’ve been back twice since, just for the Seafood & Mushroom Risotto. I am thrilled they just opened a Lone Tree location—it’s a dangerous addition to my neighborhood!

If I had to pick one place to spend a shoot day, it would be the Highlands Ranch Mansion. The blend of historic architecture and sprawling grounds offers a timeless elegance that perfectly complements my "modern-meets-soulful" style.

I’m a huge movie fan, and my most recent highlight was seeing The Devil Wears Prada 2 on opening day. That level of style and "boss" energy is exactly the vibe I bring to my branding sessions.

I’ve recently immersed myself in the world of astrophotography. There is something incredibly grounding about standing under the vastness of the night sky, waiting for the perfect alignment of stars. It keeps my technical skills sharp—constantly learning and always looking for light in the darkness.
One of my most inspiring experiences was a stay at Waves of Wyoming. Nestled on a 116-acre sanctuary at Glendo State Park, this venue is a photographer's dream. Between the mountain views, the sandy beaches, and the signature horseback riding, the daytime opportunities are endless. But it’s the night that truly captured me.
Far from the city lights, the sky over Waves of Wyoming opens up in a way that is hard to describe. Capturing the Milky Way over their 100-foot water feature and the quiet, rugged landscape reminded me why I love this craft: photography is about the patience to wait for a moment that only happens once. Whether I'm capturing the stars in Wyoming or your professional legacy in Colorado, I bring that same level of dedication and "scout’s eye" to every frame.
